I love my āTexasāembroidery with the beautiful Blue Bonnet flowers. It is my favorite!
These kits are great way to learn the art of embroidery, including various stitches and techniques. They also offer a great opportunity for additional practice. My only complaint is that some of the videos are jumbled and arenāt as straightforward, especially with the second learning kit. Other than that, these are great.
I almost never leave reviews, but this kit was so wanting I feel the need to warn people. The directions are the bare minimum, unless you know what youāre doing already, you will get lost. One of my state kits came with a thread color the directions never indicated where to use it. The QR codes to the ātutorialsā almost never worked when I went to open them - they just took me to a āthis video is privateā screen. The one time they did work, all the videos are general and never relate to the actual state youāre stitching. They never give you a picture, just a drawing (which isnāt particularly helpful) of the finished embroidery. Also, when I emailed them per the website: āemail us with questions, weāre happy to help,ā I literally never got a response and that was almost a month ago. This product is far too expensive for having no directions and not suited for beginners because it lacks clear instructions. Just trace your own state outline and flower, buy your own supplies, and save yourself $30.
The state flower kits are so fun and fast to make and make fabulous presents. Itās a win- win.
I just received this the other day everything looks great. I have to finish what Iām working on now before I can start it.
